After a thorough engine upgrade and equipped with modern assistance systems, the popular 790 Adventure is back and represents the entry into KTM's mid-range touring enduro class.

Anyone looking for a robust touring enduro that combines real off-road characteristics with a moderate seat height will certainly be happy with the KTM 790 Adventure. Just under three and a half thousand euros cheaper than the higher-end 890 models, it can do almost everything just as well as its big sisters. So why not cut back a little on the basic model and invest in a comprehensive range of equipment instead? Brought up to Euro 5 level by Chinese manufacturing partner CFMOTO, the 799 cubic centimetre twin cylinder delivers 95 hp at 8,000 rpm. The twin delivers its maximum torque of 88 Newton metres just 1,400 revs down. Data that is more than sufficient for touring and three times as much for off-road use.

On the suspension side, KTM uses solid components supplied by sister company WP Suspension, and the Austrians don't skimp on the brakes either. Although designed as an entry-level offering, the KTM 790 Adventure outshines most of its competitors in terms of equipment and build quality.

Touratech offers a complete range of accessories to turn the KTM 790 Adventure into a long-distance adventure-tour bike.

Tailor-made accessories for an individual motorbike

In line with the motto "Making good things even better", Touratech has developed an extensive portfolio for customising the KTM 790 Adventure. Individual facets of the machine can be tweaked to suit the individual usage profile. Anyone who demands maximum precision and large reserves from their suspension when riding with a high payload will not be able to avoid an upgrade with shock absorbers or the Closed Cartridge from Touratech Suspension. If the 790 is to be ridden more on unpaved terrain, a solid set of protectors is a must.

For luggage transport on board the KTM 790 Adventure, Touratech offers a wide range of soft luggage in addition to the proven ZEGA aluminium case systems: from tank bags, rack packs and handlebar bags to fully off-road-compatible soft luggage systems for the rear. The one-piece Touratech comfort seat with heat-reflecting Fresh Touch cover is specially designed for long distances. Smart accessories such as adjustable levers, wide footrests and a handlebar riser are also designed with comfort in mind.
